Setting and retrieving bridge plugs is a common activity during well maintenance and interventions. Even a short time after being set, the plug can become covered with debris or sediment, making it difficult to retrieve.
With the VR90 X-ray diagnostic service, operators can get a clear picture of any debris as well as the condition of the plug.
The image (bottom right) obtained at Visuray’s test facilities show a debris-covered bridge plug. Both the circular outline of the plug as well as the metallic debris on top of it are clearly visible.
