On June 28, 2016, Visuray had the pleasure of hosting a visit from the Mayor of Randaberg, Kristine Enger, and Randaberg Kommune’s councilman Magne Fjell.
Ms Enger had previously visited Visuray’s stand at OTC 2016, held in Houston from May 2-5 this year. ‘Visuray is an exciting business, with employees from around 20 different countries all possessing such specialized knowledge from different fields. I think the company has huge potential,’ she says. In her first year as Mayor of Randaberg, she is eager to make a difference in her community. ‘I hope that I can be useful in my position as mayor for all companies in Randaberg, especially in these hard times.’
Visuray Group’s CEO Kambiz Safinya and Visuray AS General Manager Marie Sivertsen hosted the visit, which included a guided tour of the Visuray R&D facility. ‘We have such a diverse and highly-skilled team doing groundbreaking technology development here at Visuray, and to be able to showcase this to our local representatives makes us feel very proud,’ says Marie Sivertsen. ‘We hope for their continued support and interest in our company.'
